Welcome to DeTurck Racing & Fabrication
I have been running a fabrication , engine building shop for over ten years now on a part time bassis . I love designing and building chassis , one off plates and brackets or anything that has to do with racing . Here at the shop I have the ability to go from footbegs to complete turnkey bikes ready to race . It doesnt matter what type or size . I have built Youth tube chassis , Yamaha rd 350 rear clips and RZ tube chassis to car tire rear clips and chassis . I also have the resources for cnc machining with programming knowledge for that one of a kind idea or multiple parts of exact duplication . Drop me a line with all your needs....

My bike 5 years ago
Here is a bike I ran and built . With this bike I set both ends of the record at Reading Motorcycle Clubs racing facility with a time of 4.808 seconds @ 120.22 mph that still stands to this date. I had to retire this bike when in its second season I ran it at South Mountain Dragway , I flipped it at the 100' mark and bent it up like a pretzel . The following pic was taken during the ill flight ...... |

I started off young like my kids in racing , I was 7 years old racing an Indian 50 , ran that for I think 2 years , then my dad bought me a brand new YZ80 (in 1976 I think). I still remember the first ride . It was Christmas morning , all I had was a football helmet , (mom has the picture) .....Im going up the yard , cracked the throttle and I thought it ripped my head off . WOW this bike was fun . I raced that bike for about 3 years with tons of changes and modifications , 16" rear wheel , all different types of chambers , bigger carb , dual carbs , porting , you get the picture... Then I moved on and started racing a YZ175 that only lasted one year , and then it was time for dad having me run his dragbike , a Yamaha R5 350 . Now that was fast ! I ran that for several years before taking a break .( I remember racing at Maple Grove and running 12. something ET ) After a 3 year absent from the races , I built my own 350cc , an Rd this time , backboned it , stretched it , put a slick on it and won the first race . The next year I built my first big bike , a KZ 900 and finished first in the points that year in the 900 class , and the rest is history . I went from a 900 to a 1000 , then 1200 , 1425 and now I've been racing with 1500cc for 7 years now . The bikes have changed every two years from conversion chassis to full tube chassis that I am now running .
